Interview by Gabriela Grimbaum and Patricio Alvarez
Maitena, an Argentine graphic humorist and novelist, examines the contingent encounters that determined her life and writing. In an intimate account marked by family with its excesses and pains, and linked to psychoanalysis, she pinpoints the elements with which she constructed her famous funny stories.
She teaches us how to make humor with what misses, and above all with the feminine, distinguishing the suffering that can cease or be reduced in analysis, from the irreversible.
